Here at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College we are committed to the safeguarding of our community. Our main priority is creating an environment in which our students can be safe to reach their full potential.

MY Voice

At Shooters Hill Sixth Form College we want everyone to feel safe, supported, and heard. My Voice is a confidential way to report concerns about yourself or others, including bullying, mental health, or safety issues. You can report anonymously or leave your details if you would like a follow-up.

Every report is taken seriously, and our safeguarding team will review and respond appropriately. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please speak to a trusted adult, the safeguarding team or contact emergency services.

Our Safeguarding Team

Danville Berbeck - Assistant Principal and Strategic DSL

Responsible for strategic planning of safeguarding initiatives, staffing and resources

Joanna Desloandes - Head of Behaviour and Safeguarding DSL

Responsible for management of the safeguarding team and services

Glenda Kramer - Deputy DSL

Responsible for assisting the DSL with cases and agency liaison

Sarah Webb - CLA and Safeguarding Officer

Responsible for students in care or leaving care

Online Safety

At Shooters Hill Sixth Form College we always try to make our staff and students aware of the risks they face in the online community, especially social media websites. That's why we are encouraging parents to get involved and help us at home to achieve this objective. We have created various posters and promotions to make staff and students aware of this e-safety campaign and we would also like parents to be aware of this e-safety campaign at home as well. To implement this,  parents can download and install various resources on their home computers via the links below to keep the campaign going.
