Dear Parent/Carer,
On behalf of Shooters Hill Sixth Form College, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and offer our sincerest congratulations on your young person's enrolment at our institution. We are delighted to embark on this educational journey alongside them and support their growth and development.
Please be informed that the carrying and use of vapes are strictly prohibited on our premises. This measure is in place due to the high associated risks linked to the contents of these products. I appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all our students.
I would also like to emphasise the importance of attendance to all lessons. Attendance is vital for the academic progress and well-being of students. As a non-statutory education organisation, we reserve the right to withdraw students who do not meet the attendance requirements outlined in our policy, which can be accessed on our official website.
In the coming days, you will receive an invitation to attend an introductory parents' event. This event will provide an opportunity for you to meet with the faculty, ask any questions you may have, and familiarise yourself with our college community and the support services that we can offer.
