Children from Christchurch, our local primary school, came to SHC to have some fun with sport.

The morning event was a sports day, where the children took part in various activities, including team relays, sprinting and parachute games.
This was run by level 3 sports students as part of their 'organising sport events' unit. They therefore had to plan the event and work as a cohesive team in order to deliver the event to a high standard.

The event went really well with glowing feedback given from teachers, with the children expressing how much they enjoyed the event.

The afternoon event was again run by another cohort of level 3 sports students for the same unit. This event was a football festival where year 3 students from the same primary school took part in different drills, activities and fun games culminating in a mini tournament to conclude proceedings.

This was, again, well received by teachers and the children alike who really enjoyed themsleves and had lots of fun.
