Students in the Inclusive Learning department have been extremely successful in their work experience placements.
Knowing its' importance, we provide all of our students the opportunity to explore and participate in work experience.
Work experience enables students to gain first-hand experience of employment; giving them the chance to develop key employability skills like team-work, communication and time management.
Two students from our Inclusive Learning department spent time at their local Co-Op as part of their work experience placement. As a result of their hard work and efforts, they have been offered employment at the shop.
The students were told that they had an excellent attitude and were very quick at picking up new skills.
Needless to say, our students were thrilled with the outcome and have motivated other students to explore new work experience opportunities.
