Course Content

The Level 2 Diploma builds foundational skills, while the Level 3 Diploma develops supervisory and leadership abilities, preparing you for higher-level roles or further education. Both levels of this program provide a thorough grounding in the core principles of food and beverage service, with units including: 

Level 2 Diploma: 

  • Principles of Customer Service in Hospitality, Leisure, Travel, and Tourism 

  • Serve Food at the Table 

  • Prepare and Serve Hot and Cold Drinks 

  • Introduction to Barista Skills 

  • Assist in Reception Duties 

  • Maintain Food Safety in a Hospitality Environment 

  • Basic Cocktail Preparation and Service 

Level 3 Diploma: 

  • Supervise Food and Beverage Service Operations 

  • Prepare and Serve Complex Cocktails 

  • Advanced Barista Skills

Requirements

To enrol in the Level 2 Diploma in Food and Beverage Service course, you’ll need: 

  • A keen interest in hospitality and a commitment to customer service 

  • Grade 2 or above in GCSE English and Maths
