The VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing provides a more comprehensive and professional skillset in hairdressing. Students will learn advanced techniques in cutting, colouring, and styling, with a focus on working with clients in a salon environment. The course also covers health and safety and customer care.

Requirements

To enrol in the VTCT Level 2 Diploma Hairdressing course, you’ll need: 

  • Completion of the VTCT Level 1 in Hairdressing 

  • Grade 3 or above in English and Maths

  1. Hair Stylist – Providing haircuts, styling, and basic colour services in salons or spas.

  1. Salon Assistant – Supporting senior stylists and assisting with client treatments, shampooing, and preparing clients for services.
