Overview
Level 1 Hair & Beauty
The course is designed to give an insight into the world of the hair and beauty industry.
You will gain a Diploma in Hair & Beauty Skills and be able to progress on to our Level 2 courses within the hair and beauty department here at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College.
This qualification will prepare you for an apprenticeship in hairdressing or beauty therapy.
Also forms part of a suite of fifteen VTCT Foundation Skills Qualifications at Entry Level 3, Level 1 and Level 2.

Practicals
Summative Observations are related to all units/topics covered.
You will be supervised by technical staff and assessed on your occupational competence
Exams
The external paper will test your knowledge of all unit criteria. A pass mark of 70% must be achieved.
