Hairdressing Level 1
This course is an introduction into the world of hairdressing.
If you do this Diploma in Hairdressing course you can then continue onto Level 2 Hairdressing at Shooters Hill College.
This qualification will prepare you to progress to the next level of vocational learning at level 2, specifically you will be able to undertake:
- VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing (QCF)
- VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing (Combined Hair Types) (QCF)
- VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Barbering (QCF)
- VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Women's Hairdressing (QCF)
- VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Women's and Men's Hairdressing (QCF)
Course Content
Practicals
Summative Observations are related to all units/topics covered. You will be supervised by technical staff and assessed on your occupational competence.
Exams
The external paper will test your knowledge of all unit criteria. A pass mark of 70% must be achieved.
