Overview
The GCSE Advanced Study Programme
At Shooters Hill College we offer students that have not yet sat GCSE qualifications but are aged 16-18 the opportunity to study an accelerated GCSE Study Programme. During this course you will study 5 GCSEs: English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Citizenship. Success on this course will enable your progression onto Level 3 courses such as A-Levels. This course is ideal for students that have equivalent grades from other countries that need GCSEs for future education and employment. It is also ideal for students who may have missed out on their exams due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.
This course is suitable for UK or international students who do not have GCSE qualifications and as a result are not able to access a Level 3 course relevant to their future aspirations. This course is not suitable for students wishing to enrol for a Level 3 BTEC programme, they should be looking at doing a Level 2 BTEC which would allow progression to their Level 3 BTEC choice.
