Multi Trades Entry Level
This qualification meets the needs of candidates who want to work in various trades of the construction sector. It allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the construction sector. You may progress onto Level 1 Multi Trades or a number of Level 1 Diploma courses. Alternatively, you may enter
employment directly.
On completion of this course and depending on your English & Maths results, you can progress onto:
- Level 1 Multi-Trades or trade specific course at level 1
- Apprenticeship

- Painting techniques
- Constructing halving joints
- Constructing housing joints
- Constructing bridle joints
- Assembling 13amp switched sockets wired in ring final circuit
- Connecting a flex to common apparatus
- Working with non-manipulative fittings
- Laying paving using slabs
- Constructing half brick wall
Exams
Each unit is assessed by a practical task with underpinning knowledge questions.
