Course Content
Topics Covered
Your study programme will include English, maths, PSHE and tutorial sessions as well as the vocational sport lessons.
The sport lessons involve a mix of demanding practical tasks and written work that will give you a good foundation on career opportunities and the preparation needed for the work place and / or progression to Level 3 Sport courses here at the college. You will complete a range of assessments for each unit including internal and external testing, practical assessments, presentations and course work.

- Leading sports activities
- Running a sports event
- Practical Sports Performance
- Anatomy and physiology for sports performance
- The mind and sports performance
Practicals
You will take part in a range of team and individual sports throughout the academic year.

Entry Requirements
To enrol in the Level 3 Sports Coaching course, you’ll need:
