Learning Support offers extra assistance, help, advice and study support to those students whose particular needs affect their ability to study, and or make progress.

If you need extra help with your learning, specialist staff from the Inclusive Learning Team will work closely with you to assess your learning needs, agree with you how best to meet them, and with your permission pass this information on to staff who might work with you.

You can come and talk to us at our open events, interview evenings and at enrolment in late August – the earlier the better! If you feel you need a link or time to settle in and get to know us before you start the course, please contact us as soon as you decide Shooters Hill Sixth Form College is for you and we can support you with this.

We provide advice and support for students with:

-  Cognition and Learning – Students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and global   delay and specific Learning Difficulties such as Dyslexia

-  Communication and Interaction – Communication difficulties including those with a   diagnosis of Autism (ASD), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and Speech, Language   and Communication Needs (SLCN).
