Today we celebrate our students achievements in their GCSE's and all other subjects, preparing them for future pathways and employment!
Students nervously waited to collect their results as the doors were finally opened this morning, with the room decorated and the treats table filled to put smiles on our students faces.
Hesitation and apprehension was soon met with faces of happiness and relief as many opened their envelopes to reveal that this year's hard work and efforts paid off!
Student Journeys and words of encouragement:
Terrique - GCSE Maths Resit
'I like that the college is welcoming and open to supporting all students no matter the grade. I advise students to work hard. For example I took my resits and I had to put my head down in order for it to pay off.'
Mia - Media
'I advise students to persevere through, don't feel down because you didn't get the grades that you wanted, keep trying!'
Deondre - Plumbing
'Keep trying and if it gets too hard, don't give up! Just don't give up. Take it easy, there's always a new day at giving it your all again.'
Rasheed - I.T
'I have had a good experience at Shooters Hill, it's gone very well. I advise students to work hard and you will get to where you want to be.'
